Beau has separation anxiety and after a dog attack, he’s wary and reactive to big dogs. So, in his four years, he's never been left with anyone outside the family. Finding someone to watch him while I went to a non-dog friendly event was stressful, I didn't want to make his anxiety worse, and I needed to know the person understood his issues.

When we first met Mia, Beau hid behind our legs, like he sensed something was going on, and Mia patiently gave him space to be himself. When they went on their first walk together, Beau was a little unsure and I was a nervous wreck for the whole hour. But he had fun, and by the time they had their first house sit together, he wasn’t upset at all and gave her an enthusiastic welcome.

He was also shy with Meredith at first, but after a few walks and house sits; he’s not shy at all. He loves her and is not afraid to show it; he showers her with hugs and kisses.

This is a pet service I didn’t know I needed until now. We usually walk our dog, but on busy days, when a quick walk would be all we can manage, Mia or Meredith take him for a good hours walk, and he loves it. I don't feel guilty leaving him now because I know he's in good hands and gets another walk thrown in. I would recommend this business to any dog owners who need occasional or regular help. Mia is absolutely wonderful. Our menagerie all loved her immediately. Even if Ebony did spend 10 mins woofing at her. A lovely calm lady who inspires confidence and trust both in the furries but also their humans, putting us at ease immediately. It was great to go away and know Mia was looking after everything for us and whilst we were away she kept us up to date with pictures of what the animals had been up to. When we returned I wondered how the house looked so tidy. It seems Mia masquerades as Cinderella too. Can’t thank you enough Mia. 100% recommend. And we’re now joining group walks too

Amazing services. Super patient and friendly and knowledgeable, first aid trained, takes time to get to know their clients (human and animal) to really do their very best. I’m incredibly careful about who I trust but have no hesitation in recommending Pups & Ponies to all my friends and family. They take such care and always go the extra mile.

I used Mia for home and pet sitting recently (Pony/Dogs/Cats/Chickens) and am so glad I found her! She visited twice prior to staying to meet the animals and learn their routines. I am very anxious about leaving my animals but she was so reassuring with me and my dogs (who are notoriously barky chihuahuas) and despite my worries, they all settled perfectly with her calm personality and she sent me regular pictures and updates while I was away. She kept my ponies and chickens cleaned/mucked to a high standard and they were all happy and fed. Also had all the relevant insurance/paperwork so I was reassured with this also. I returned home to a tidy clean home. So easy and fuss free I will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for five star pet/home care!

Mia and Meredith provide above and beyond service. They obviously love dogs and take such good care of my two. I really appreciate the variety of locations they're taken to, and they always return tired and happy! I recommend them unreservedly.

Having our dogs be part of our wedding day was so important to us and Mia was the only person I’d trust to chaperone my 3 dogs and get them there on time. She took the time to make sure all 3 of them looked PERFECT and to say she bent over backwards for me that day would be an understatement.
